劉艾真 Jen Liu | I AM CLOUD 廖祈羽 LIAO Chi Yu | 鳥 Bird 4K video | 15'30" | 2024 單頻道錄像 Single-channel video | 16’47”  | 2021 | 策展專文 Curatorial Statement 「觸」是感官上的碰觸、身體的感應與社會的衝擊;在當代數位語境中,它更指涉資訊被「觸及」的過程。這裡 的「觸」蘊含真實的臨近,強調靠近、接近、企及的過程與努力,以及由此帶來的張力與感動。而「True」則指向 那 些 被 社 會 規 範 與 演 算 法 所 遮 蔽,卻 始 終 存 在 的 真 實。藝 術 家 透 過 作 品,不 斷 地 觸 及、觸 擊、觸 發,甚 至 觸 犯 社會的既定想像,以此揭示與挑戰被隱匿的現實,並重新書寫性別的意義與存在的方式。 在現實世界裡,身體總是被觀看、被規訓、被期待;而在數位環境中,這種狀態則因演算法而被放大與加劇。然 而,藝術使身體不再只是被動承載意義的物體,而成為回應、抵抗與生成主體意識的場域。當身體超越社會期 待、展現異質的行動與形象時,往往被視為觸犯既定秩序;藝術家正是透過這種展演策略,在臨界點上提出挑 釁,迫使觀者直面真實與偏見,並在緊繃的張力中製造裂縫,使新的感知與思考得以滲入。 「觸 True」是一種追問的態度,在現實與數位交織的時代,創作者如何逼迫並邀請觀者,重新思考與感受存在 的策略。性別不是一個固定的身份標籤,而是一種流動的狀態,在裂縫中閃現,於臨界之處開啟新的真實。 "True"evokes physical contact, bodily perception, and social impact; in the digital age, it also suggests the process of reaching or being reached. It conveys real proximity, the effort of approaching, and the affective resonance it creates. “True” points to realities obscured by social norms and algorithms, yet always present. Through their works, artists continually touch, trigger, and even transgress established imaginaries to expose hidden realities and rewrite the meanings of gender and existence. The body—disciplined and expected in the real world, and ampli ed by algorithms online—becomes, in art, a site of response and resistance. When bodies act beyond social expectations, they are often seen as violations of order; yet it is precisely such gestures that provoke confrontation, forcing viewers to face truths and prejudices while opening cracks for new perception. True asks how, in an era where reality and digital intertwine, artists invite viewers to re-examine strategies of existence. Gender here is not fixed but fluid, flickering in the fissures and revealing new truths at the thresholds. 297
